The timing chain keeps the crankshaft and camshafts in step. Over time the chain stretches and the plastic guides wear, which causes a rattle on start-up and timing fault codes. Left too long, it can cause serious engine damage. This kit suits the 3.0 V6 supercharged petrol engine in the Range Rover L405 (2013-2021), Range Rover Sport L494 (2013-2022) and Discovery 5 (2017 onwards).
